Fantastic gym, nice people, great Ethical drinks they sell and resources for working at home booths. Which were installed recently. The only issue is early opening hours on weekends and it is quite pricey for a membership in the long run. Including hire of shoes and chalk.

Friendly and helpful staff led by management who clearly want to provide the best possible experience to everyone who visits. They're always improving what they offer and have demonstrated that they value feedback from their customers. A decent small-mid sized climbing area, which they pack full of plenty of problems across grades and styles. The training-specific area is on the smaller side but well-stocked for its size. However, there's no moon/kilter/campus board if you're looking for that kind of thing, but it doesn't feel like an issue because they've maximised the actual climbing space, and made the most of an infamously challenging commercial location tucked-away in the Mall. There's even a cafe/bar where they host events, plus a smart-working area too, which links to my last point... There's a fantastic community! The suburban location means the age range probably skews younger than a city gym, and I think that contributes to an atmosphere where people aren't taking themselves too seriously. Nevertheless, you'll find all ages and ability levels are catered for and the Rhino team fosters an open and inclusive environment. As a solo climber, I can come and climb in peace if I want, but with the gym's warm and supportive vibe it's almost impossible not to end up chatting with someone every visit! And watching a 10-year-old flash the route you're struggling on is good for the ego. 5/5. Bromley was crying out for a space like this and the Rhino team have delivered!

We went with our 5 year old son and his two friends in his year, great place they had lots of fun. NB no dedicated area for age group, all age groups and all levels are mixed together

Absolutely brilliant. My 8 year old was supposed to have a birthday party at another venue and we found out we had been scammed. I had 15 children and no where for them to go. The staff here said we could come in without hesitation, they blocked on an area for us on the wall and even set up some tables for the children to have some cake after in the cafe. I was so grateful that they had even let us come in but they really went above and beyond anything I expected and turned what could have been an absolutely awful day into something that the children really enjoyed!! I cannot recommend enough!

Spacious climbing area, lots of open space on the mats for chilling. Setting was great, lots of variety of wall profiles- mainly overhang. The grading system is unique but makes use of all the different hold types 👌👌 Shop area is stocked with only Scarpa shoes atm. No training boards but apparently will have a spray wall in the future. Gym area to open this month too. Cafe is cozy, but doesn't sell any recovery drinks or sports drinks. Defo will come back, worth a visit.
Whether you’re here to climb, work, or just soak up the atmosphere, you’re always welcome at Rhino Boulder.
