Fun medium sized gym in the centre of Bromley with a nice selection of holds. Climbs are graded by tags which is always a good sign for variety. One of the most impressive dust extraction systems ive seen in a climbing gym.

Took my daughter here (28/5/26) as she wanted to give it a try, and we had a really good experience. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the guy who helped us, but he was a stocky lad with a beard (would make a great Prop or Number 8 in rugby!). He was friendly, patient, and happy to answer all the questions I had as complete beginners. Pricing is on the higher side, but it’s worth noting that the pass covers the whole day. We left for a while and came back later, which made it feel better value. There weren’t many easier climbing routes for younger children, but honestly I didn’t really expect there to be. This is clearly a facility aimed at people who are serious about climbing rather than a children’s activity centre, and it does that very well. Friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and a great place to try something different. 👍

Really fun place. From beginner pov there is plenty of boulders to try, so you don't feel left out. They also run classes for kids, which are great. Staff is very friendly. Feels very much like a little, open, close knit community. Highly recommend

Really good bouldering only gym. Quite large, good setting with a variety of walls. Appears they have a regular reset schedule too! Large home working area and friendly staff. Didn’t get anything from the cafe area but appeared they had a variety of options at a reasonable price. Great idea to have a handwashing area by the bouldering. Something small which is really helpful!

Cool place for bouldering in Bromley. I have been going with my son of 12 years. Staff are friendly and helpful and they change the routes up regularly enough to keep things interesting!

Absolutely! Everyone at Rhino was a first timer at some point, and we’re always excited to welcome new climbers. Our space is designed to be beginner-friendly, and our community is genuinely supportive—no pressure, no judgment. Whether you’re figuring it out or just here to have a go, you’ll fit right in. And if you need help, our team’s always around.

Not at all. Many people climb solo and love it—it’s their time to focus, unwind, and move mindfully. But if you’re keen to meet others, Rhino’s the perfect place. Our community is friendly and open, and we run regular Adult Social and Women’s+ Social nights designed for exactly that. Whether you want company or quiet, you’ll feel right at home.

You don’t need to be super fit or strong to get going! We have over 200 boulder problems throughout the centre ranging in difficulty, so there’s something for everyone regardless of your level of experience, that’s the beauty of climbing!

If you’re keen to avoid the busier periods, we recommend visiting on weekday mornings or early afternoons—especially before 4pm. Weekends and evenings tend to be more popular, but there’s always space to find your own pace. And if you’ve got any questions while you’re here, our staff are always happy to help.

No! We also have a warming café where you can sit comfortably and enjoy snacks & drinks (and beer!) when you are not climbing!
