RHINO BOULDER - BROMLEY - LONDON

What's the Rumble?

Rhino Boulder BIG event for the year is coming up, and it will be bigger and better than ever!

This year the event will be split over 2 days, with the open comp running on Saturday for Adults and Sunday for Juniors, so we can keep things smooth and spread the crowd over the whole weekend!

The fun comp will be happening both days and is open to all ages.
If you don't feel like competing with the elite but would still like to come climbing on the day and join the event then get involved!

Fun Comp

Fun Comps will run each day on both days with a self scoring format.

The comps will run from 2 to 5pm. Podiums will be at 5:30pm.

There will be 40+ fresh boulders for the event, and each category will get a selection of 25 boulders for their scorecard.

Boulders can be attempted as many times as you like, scoring as follows:

Zone only: 4 points
Top: 10 points
Flash (top): 11 points

Team Comp

Fun comp participants can also team up and participate to the Team comp in parallel.

Teams must consist of 4 climbers of any age with at least 2 genders represented.

The team participants scores will be added up to define the team comp rankings.

Challenges

Get Ready to have a laugh on some weird and wonderful climbing themed challenges, each challenge will prize a winner!

Open Comp & Showcase Finals

The Open Comp will start with self scoring qualifiers between 1:30pm and 4:30pm.

Scoring for the qualifiers will follow the same system as the Fun Comp.

The top 6 climbers in each category progress to the Showcase Finals from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Finalists will battle it out on 4 boulders in a 4 minutes+ timing format.

Finals scoring will follow IFSC / World Climbing format.
